Bernard’s background in the manufacturing and defense sectors affords him a unique QuickBooks perspective – he understands the intricacies of complex environments and applies this knowledge to companies of all sizes and across all industries. Bernard has designed integrated performance measures for long-term forecasting, cash flow valuation, and developed long term plans for myriad business units.
With more than 20 years of consulting experience and multiple Intuit ProAdvisor certifications, Bernard possesses the high-level skills to “pull it all together” with an emphasis on business application and integration. Bernard holds an MBA from Harvard University in Finance and Operations Management. He also holds an undergraduate degree from Ecole Polytechnique in Math and Physics.
Sharon L. Aks, founder of Simply Financials PLUS, is a CPA who provides her small and mid-sized business clients with CFO and controller-level services. She gained her diverse experience by working in family businesses as well as employment with blue-chip companies such as Mobil, General Electric, and Ernst & Young.
Sharon’s accomplishments include the oversight of many projects such as daily general ledger accounting, cash flow improvement, inventory logistics, QuickBooks training and installations, a QuickBooks-to-PCLaw conversion, new reporting systems, and government regulatory filings. Sharon is experienced in a variety of industry sectors including manufacturing, services, clean tech, legal, banking, telecom, oil and gas, and nonprofit.
Sharon earned a BS in Accounting from Syracuse University, and received an MBA in Finance from Pace University. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Connecticut Society of CPAs.
Mary Margaret Poster, an accountant and technology expert, has a natural facility for utilizing software applications to streamline business processes. Accomplished in project management, job costing, and business analysis, Mary Margaret has experience in manufacturing, broadcasting, consumer products, non-profit, and startups. She is the President of Compass Accounting Solutions and, prior to starting her own firm, worked for Hyperion Solutions and Lawson Software. Mary Margaret’s background in accounting, technology, and operations allows her to reach a deep understanding of her client’s goals and needs. Mary Margaret is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with expertise in QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks for Mac, and QuickBooks Online. She is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB.org) and received her BS in Accounting from Fairfield University.
Colleen M. Holler brings high quality accounting and administrative skills to Mission QuickBooks. Colleen’s experience includes over 30 years of accounting work, including financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and financial management, and staff training and development. She has over 20 years of QuickBooks expertise.
Colleen’s exceptional accounting skills help clients manage complex bookkeeping challenges. Before joining Mission QuickBooks, Colleen was Director of Religious Education for St. Catherine of Siena Parish in Trumbull, CT, a part-time accountant for LaLuna Tax Service, Controller of STWS Inc., and Accounting Manager for Tucker Anthony Inc. Colleen received her BA in Accounting from Belmont Abbey College and earned membership into the National Accounting Honor Society.
Stacey Langston is a professional accountant with 17 years of experience in advanced bookkeeping, payroll and human resource management, certified payroll, cost accounting, and tax return preparation. Stacey, an advanced certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and QuickBooks trainer, is highly skilled in setting up and troubleshooting QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online files.
Her industry experience is in retail, real estate, service, manufacturing, and Government contract project management, including AIA contract documentation and certified payroll. Deliverables from Stacey are prompt and precise as she maintains open communication with clients for a project’s duration. Stacey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Carol A. Onorato is a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with a business background that includes tax preparation, office management, customer service, and cash management. Prior to joining Mission QuickBooks, Carol was a Credit and Portfolio Manager with Pitney Bowes Credit Corporation and Control Manager for Macy’s Inc. in Stamford, CT.
Carol has been active in the community, currently serving as Trustee for the Erwin S. Fairchild and Edythe C. Fairfield Trust and Treasurer of the Fairchild Nichols Memorial Library Association. She has served the Bridgeport Diocese Synod, Trumbull school system, and Notre Dame Fairfield Club as a volunteer. Carol received her BA in Government and Sociology from the University of Notre Dame.
Gina Palacio, owner of Palace Bookkeeping Services, is a full-charge bookkeeper and QuickBooks trainer with over 15 years of experience. Gina, in addition to being a certified XERO bronze partner and QuickBooks ProAdvisor, is an IRS enrolled agent. She specializes in accounting, software consulting, sales tax consulting, and income tax preparation.
Gina’s small business management skills allow her to instruct clients on best practices for maintaining their books properly in preparation for tax season. Gina has been a QuickBooks instructor at Norwalk Community College since 2006 and received an Associate’s degree in Accounting from Norwalk Community College.
Lynn Foss specializes in QuickBooks products and management consulting. During Lynn’s fifteen years practicing as a CPA, she has helped many small businesses keep up with their day-to-day accounting operations and create useful and timely reports. In 2003, Lynn launched her own practice dedicated to serving these small businesses. Her firm provides not only day-to-day accounting such as client billing and accounts payable, but also financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, software installation, and training services.
Lynn also works with UDA Construction Suite and Sage 100 for Contractors. She is certified in QuickBooks Online and utilizes many integrated applications that she customizes to her clients’ needs, including time tracking, document storage, scheduling, job costing, and many others.
Ramon Colon has held numerous managerial accounting positions with companies such as AT&T, ITT, Graphnet, and Technology, Patents & Licensing. Upon earning his QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification, Ramon transitioned from corporate accounting to supporting QuickBooks clients in 2013.
Ramon has over 30 years of accounting experience and is an expert in Microsoft Excel, which he uses to build financial models and other custom applications. Ramon holds a BSBA in Management from Thomas Edison State College and a master’s certificate in project management from The George Washington University
Christine R. Weinreb is an experienced bookkeeper and operations manager with excellent computer and office skills. Well versed in QuickBooks, Excel, PowerPoint, applied systems, inventory, and reporting, Christine has worked in the distribution, insurance, and real estate industries.
Christine has also used her customer service and special projects skills while volunteering as treasurer and chairperson for multiple schools in the Stamford, CT school system. Christine obtained her bookkeeping certification from Norwalk Community College and received her BS in Marketing from Central Connecticut University.
Monika Piascik is a bookkeeping and accounting professional dedicated to efficiency and accuracy. She possesses valuable experience with QuickBooks and small business bookkeeping, which includes managing accounts receivable and payable, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, performance reporting, and customer service.
Monika is QuickBooks Online certified and received her BS in Professional Studies from the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Organizations. Monika also holds an Associate of Science degree in Accounting from Norwalk Community College.
