Business Sharing

One of the best things you can do for your small business is to get involved in your local business community. The local community can be a tremendous resource. A post from last week at the Intuit Small Business blog looks at one possible benefit to this kind of networking: business sharing.

The idea here is relatively simple. You share resources with other small businesses. You might lend one another tools you don’t often use, like a tent, photography equipment, or a label maker. You share resources that you don’t often use like your car. You rent out extra inventory that’s not regularly being used.

Ultimately, this leads to new partnerships which can help increase your business in a number of significant ways.
