Using Google+ for Your Small Business

Unless you’ve been hiding under a social media rock, you know that Google released its new social network, Google+, to the masses recently. Designed to take a chunk out of Facebook and Twitter, Google+ is hot talk among the tech elite.

The Intuit Small Business Blog offers some advice on how to  put Google+ to work for you. Of note is the fact that you can’t yet create a business profile on the social network – that functionality will be added this winter. In the meantime, you’ll have to settle for using the system to promote your personal brand, as well as adding the “+1 button” to your website or blog.

It will be interesting to see whether Google+ lives up to the hype, as well as how seamlessly it integrates with other Google business products like AdWords.
