What’s Your Marketing Mindset?

Marla Tabaka offers some interesting thoughts at the Inc.com blog this week. Small businesses, perhaps even more so than larger businesses, rely on their marketing strategies to keep the doors open. Tabaka asks us to look at our marketing midset in order to make more effective use of those marketing tactics we put into place.

One of the key points she raises is this: regardless of what the marketing gurus tell you, you need to make sure your marketing system represents you and your company. When you combine good marketing techniques with your own perspective, you wind up with an authentic and effective marketing model.

By asking yourself questions – about your product or service, about your clients, about your business, and about yourself – you can develop a marketing mindset that will take your business to the next level.
