If you’ve been in business for more than a day or two, you’ve had a customer complain. While most of us hate to see it happen, the blog offers some advice about how to turn customer complaining into a positive thing:

  • Listening to customer complaints can give you intel on competitors. You can find out what the customer knows (or believes) about the competition.
  • Customer complaints help our business evolve. We can identify actual weak areas simply by listening to what the customer has to say.
  • Customer complaints are an opportunity to salvage a customer. If you answer a complaint correctly, you might not only keep the customer, they might become one of your fiercest defenders over the long run.
