Intuit Payment Network Expands to QuickBooks Online

One of the absent features of QuickBooks Online most often cited by users is the lack of a credit card payment feature. Customers want to pay online, and businesses need to be able to invoice online, as well.

QuickBooks Online has announced that they will now support credit card payments via the Intuit Payment Network.

Some quick details:

  • The payment feature is optional and is managed via IPN.
  • There is no setup, monthly recurring, or termination fee. There aren’t any fixed fees per transaction, either. There is, however, a 3.25% transaction fee when a customer pays you via credit card.
  • Right now Visa and MasterCard are the only supported cards.
