Cost to client:  $2,992 per year

Intuit Premier Reseller Commission:  $2,992 x 35% = $1,047.20 (one-time payment)

Commission Paid to Partner:  $1,047.20 x 50% = $523.60 (one-time payment)

QuickBooks Online Subscription

Cost to client:  $50/month ($25/month in first 12 months)

Intuit Premier Reseller Commission:  $150 (one-time payment after 30-day trial)

Commission Paid to Partner:  $150 x 50% = $75 (one-time payment after 30-day trial)

 

Example #3

QuickBooks Point-of-Sale Pro, 2-users, with QuickBooks Payments

Cost to client:  $3,200 MSRP

Intuit Premier Reseller Commission:  $3,200 x 40% = $1,280 (one-time payment)

Commission Paid to Partner:  $1,280 x 50% = $640 (one-time payment)

 

Example #4

QuickBooks Payments, $80K monthly credit card charges

Cost to client:  N/A

Intuit Premier Reseller Commission:  $210 per month (estimated)

Commission Paid to Partner:  $210 x 50% = $105 per month for the life of the account

Intuit Full Service Payroll, 5 employees

Cost to client:  $109/month ($69.40/month in first 12 months)

Intuit Premier Reseller Commission:  $109 x 25% = $27.25 per month

Commission Paid to Partner:  $27.25 x 50% = $13.63  per month for the life of the account

QuickBooks Enterprise, Platinum Edition, 5-user, with RightNetworks Hosting

Cost to client:  $469.60 per month

Intuit Premier Reseller Commission:  $469.60 x 12 months x 28% = $1,577.86 (one-time payment)

Commission Paid to Partner:  $1,577.86 x 50% = $788.93 (one-time payment)

NOTE:  Partners can also earn commissions on POS hardware, POS supplies, Intuit checks, Intuit forms, first-year ProAdvisor memberships, other payroll products.  No commissions can be paid on QuickBooks Pro, Premier, or Mac.
